What kind of samples can you analyze?
We can perform structural characterization using HPLC, MS, and NMR on material that may contain carbohydrates. This includes polysaccharides, saponins, glycoproteins, and glycolipids.
How do I send my samples to you?
Your first need to either fill out the service form or contact Dr. Parastoo Azadi to discuss the type of analysis you will need. Once the type of analysis has been determined, you can mail your samples to the following address with a letter stating your name, email, and mailing address to:

I have purified my samples from bacteria. Can I send them to you?
Yes. We analyze samples from plant, bacteria, and mammalian sources as well as cell cultures. However, we would need to be notified if there are any safety precautions that need to be taken prior to handling of the samples.
I work for a company. Can I send samples for analysis?
Yes. We accept samples from companies, universities, and research institutions and offer a confidential service to all our clients. We can also sign confidentiality agreements with clients if needed.
If work for an international university or company, can I send samples?
Yes. We accept samples from international clients. However, payment options will need to be discussed prior to the start of the projects. Please contact Dr. Parastoo Azadi prior to sending the samples.
How long does it take for my analysis?
The duration of the experiments will depend on the type of analysis requested. We usually mail both the report and the raw data to the clients after the completion of the project.
How can I pay for the analysis?
You can pay by check, credit card, purchase order number, or wire the funds to the University of Georgia Complex Carbohydrate Research Center.
